How is VEDEN different from a desktop-only agent app?

Desktop harnesses stop when the laptop sleeps. VEDEN’s default story is an independent VPS that stays online 24/7, with a local-first option when you prefer everything under your desk.

Do I bring my own models?

Yes. Connect Claude, Codex, Grok, or other supported agent CLIs with your own accounts or API keys. Provider fees and limits apply. VEDEN is the harness, not a model reseller.

What happens when something risky is about to run?

Supported actions can show an Allow / Deny card in chat. Review before approving. Coverage depends on the engine and tool — start with a dedicated working folder and small tasks.

Is my data local or on the VPS?

Transcripts and keys live on the host you choose (your machine or your VPS). Prompts still go to the model provider you pick. Local-first is available; always-on hosting is the differentiator when you need uptime.

Is this affiliated with Anthropic or xAI?

No. VEDEN is an independent product. References to Claude or Grok Bot–class systems describe capability and fit — not partnership or endorsement.
